DRINKING WATER ANALYSIS
WaterWays specializes in these commonly requested tests for homeowners:

How often should I test my water?
If you own a home with a well, it is solely the responsibility of the homeowner to ensure the well is providing safe drinking water.
Continuous routine water testing is an important component for monitoring your drinking water.
Drilled Well (more common)
Bacteria: Twice a year (spring and fall)
Nitrate: Once a year (spring)
Comprehensive Package: Every 3-5 years
- If Arsenic is detected, it should be checked at least tri annually.
- If Arsenic is detected above 0.005 mg/L, it should be checked annually or quarterly.
- If Radon is detected above 4000 pCi/L, it should be tested quarterly to determine the yearly average. The Uranium levels and Radon in the Air levels should be checked as well.
Any other detections can be discussed further.
Dug Well (less common)
Bacteria: Quarterly
Nitrate: Twice a year (spring and fall)
Basic package: Annually
- If pH is below 6.5, lead and copper levels should be checked.
- If Nitrate is above 5 mg/L, it should be checked quarterly or monthly.
